WR Start/Sit

I will start this by prefacing that this is based on full PPR league scoring. I will also not include anyone that is drafted in the first round and most of the second round. If you need advice on starting Davante Adams, I think you need more help than I can provide. So let’s get to it:

Start:

DJ Moore: Moore has officially a must-start receiver every week. He is being targeted double-digit times the last three weeks, going over 100 yards the last two weeks. After a better season than Moore last year, Robbie Anderson has pulled a Houdini act this season. Moore has looked like an elite receiver and Sam Darnold looks like a top-15 QB because of it. Philly has been strong against opposing receivers allowing the 9th fewest points. However, refer to the beginning- must-start.

Micheal Pittman Jr: After a slow start to the season Pittman has become the lead receiver in Indy. Leading all other receivers in targets catches and receiving yards. Carson Wentz could play, might not, maybe…no one cares because Pittman still gets his and Wentz is not really a game-changer. Pittman should be viewed as a mid-to-low WR2.

Sit:

Tyler Lockett: Both of the sits this week have performed under their ADP values. Lockett started off the first two weeks as his owners expected, but the last two weeks have really disappointed in fantasy. Lockett will find his way back into the good graces of fantasy owners sooner rather than later. This is probably not the week for it though going against two good corners with the Rams. Chris Carson may not play and force the ball in the air in a potentially high-scoring game. He will probably be started in leagues, but he is a 50/50 boom or bust candidate.

CeeDee Lamb: Like Lockett, Lamb started out great the first week and somehow disappeared in what is still a high-scoring offense. When Micheal Gallup went to IR it was assumed that Lamb and Amari Cooper would benefit with more targets. In an unexpected twist, Zeke and the two tight ends have been the beneficiaries of the offense. Lamb has the skills and abilities to be a top WR, but I would wait until he gets his rhythm back. It might be this week, or it is a couple of weeks.
