A bold prediction is the assumption that the player is going to have a drastic change in ADP. That can be either positive or negative.

  1. Jahan Dotson= This is the least bold prediction of the list because it is very possible this will become a reality. Dotson showed his ability to play at the NFL level and win contested balls with his smooth route running. He also found a knack for the endzone, scoring 4 touchdowns in his first 4 games as a rookie. Jahan Dotson finishes the season as a top-10 receiver.
  2. Jonathan Taylor= Coming off a down year for Taylor, primarily due to injuries and poor offensive play. The Colts will likely have an unproven rookie at quarterback this year in the midst of a team rebuild this year. All of this does not add up to a promising season and Taylor finishes the season as RB20. This is far below where owners are drafting him.
  3. Trevor Lawrence= Trevor Lawrence joins the 5,000-passing yard club. He showed last year why he was drafted first overall. He is getting Calvin Ridley as an addition to an already potent offense. Lawrence is going to build on his growth at quarterback from last year and he will finish as a top-5 QB.
  4. Bijan Robinson= Bijan wins both Offensive Rookie of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year. He will end up being the #1 player in fantasy football. His talent is undeniable and his ability to catch out of the backfield, or from different receiver positions will greatly inflate his stats in PPR.
  5. Calvin Ridley= While playing for the Falcons Ridley had a breakout season, but the following year injuries ended his season early and last season he was suspended for gambling. After only playing a handful of games in the last two seasons he rebounds with the Jaguars to finish as a top-15 receiver.
  6. Darren Waller= Darren Waller was a top-3 until injuries caused him to miss several games and he did not look like his normal self. He was then traded to the New York Giants. His quarterback situation is now slightly worse because Daniel Jones rarely threw over 200 yards, but he is still a serviceable QB. However, Waller will be the top target on the team. He goes back to his elite form this year finishing as the TE1 in fantasy.
  7. Mark Andrews= Andrews had a pro bowl year 2 seasons ago, but he dealt with injuries last season. The magic does not return this year and he ends up as TE12.
  8. Deshaun Watson= Watson has had a “straining” few years. He did not look good during the half a season that he played last year. This could be attributed to rust after sitting out a season and a half, or he could be due to problems in his personal life. He returns to his star form this season on the field ending as the QB5.
  9. Justin Fields= Justin Fields is aboard the hype train this year and a lot of people are jumping on it. He was absolutely electric on the field last year coming very close to breaking the quarterback rushing record. The issue was that he also had one of the lowest pass attempts and yardage of most of the qualified starting quarterbacks. Either from injury and missed games, or from inaccuracy, he finishes the season as QB20.
  10. David Montgomery= David Montgomery had a very productive time as running back for the Chicago Bears. They traded him to Detroit who stocked the backfield with an explosive rookie running back in Jahmyr Gibbs. Detroit is going to go with a backfield by committee, with Montgomery getting first-down work and goal-line work, similar to Jamaal Williams last season. His usage will have him at the end of the year as RB10 and he will outscore Gibbs.
