Players to target in the Draft

Top Ten Players to target in Fantasy Draft

The players on this list are expected to finish the season above their ADP (Average Draft Position). Whether it is coming back from injury, offseason moves, or trade, these players are worth grabbing and having on your roster this season.

1. Travis Etienne (JAX RB)– A potential breakout last year, Etienne had a season-ending injury in the preseason. Now fully healed he is back on track for a breakout season in a better Jaguar offense. A threat out of the backfield raises his ceiling in PPR leagues.

2. Allan Lazard (GB WR)- If there was ever a time to shine Lazard it is this year. Mostly a capable WR3 for Green Bay, this year he is slated to be WR1 out of necessity. Green Bay picked up some free agents and drafted a rookie WR, Lazard is playing with Aaron Rodgers who will find ways to significantly improve his usage this year.

3. Jaylen Waddle (MIA WR)- Last year Waddle was a PPR monster and had a breakout rookie season. With another year under his belt and Tyreek Hill taking pressure off of him, Waddle looks to be in a prime position to increase last year’s production.

4. Breece Hall (NYJ RB)- The first running back taken in the draft, Hall is a skilled player and highly productive college player. He finds himself sharing the backfield with Michael Carter, but he should be the back to get the bulk of the downs and goal-line work. Carter will be used as more of a change of pace back.

5. Marquis Brown (ARI WR)- The Ravens offense is not known for making receivers top in the league. Brown shined last year despite that and was a productive member of the unit. This year he finds himself in a pass-happy offense with a capable quarterback. DeAndre Hopkins is suspended giving Brown ample opportunity to establish himself as a receiver threat.

6. Derek Carr (LV QB)- Consistently underrated as not being a top ten quarterback, this is the year Carr answers all of the doubters. He has a plethora of weapons and a solid offensive line. Look for him to easily finish in the top ten.

7. Allen Robinson (LAR WR)- Robinson was able to put up solid borderline WR1 numbers in a terrible Chicago offensive. He is now playing opposite of Cooper Kupp with a quarterback in Stafford that can spread the ball around and go deep. All of this factors into a higher ADP than he is going in drafts.

8. CeeDee Lamb (DAL WR)- Lamb has continued to increase his productivity each year, and this year becomes the sole WR1 on the Cowboys. There is an issue with dropped passes, as he was near the top in the league. However, with the volume increase, he should be able to capitalize on his opportunity.

9. Joe Burrow (CIN QB)- I love Joe Burrow this year. The only weakness of his game last year was the offensive line was terrible for the most part. They have revamped the line and he and his receivers have another year of experience. Many quarterbacks are ranked above him but look for Burrow to be the steadiest performer all year.

10. Nick Chubb (CLE RB)- A top ten running back in fantasy, Chubb is now on a Cleveland team that does not have a starting quarterback. They have two, but neither is expected to start the season. I see the browns leaning heavily on the running game this year, more so than in previous years.
