I think that anyone that thinks Christian McCaffrey is not the top running back again this year, due to last season, is insane. I understand that there were like 95% of owners that were burned by having one and only choice at the number one pick…McCaffrey. There was no other option. He was the only person that you should have picked at number one. He was great….the few games he played. The only thing that made McCaffery owner’s happy was seeing other first-round picks be equally disappointing.

There are a lot of players that can move up the board on this list. Ezekiel Elliot and Saquon Barkley have the potential to be top five players with better and returning players coming back on the offensive. There are also RB’s that can fall, Alvin Kamara, that can fall because they have key pieces leaving the offense. The running back champion, Derrick Henry, is lower than his previous year’s stats would put him. However, he has wear and tear and his style does not make it easy for him to stay in the top five. James Robinson is gaining the benefit of a pro-style rookie that is going to open up the running game far better than last year. I think Nick Chubb is going to be a beast this year, so don’t sleep on him.
