The bust list, like many other lists, will be updated according to changes in teams and players. A bust is a player that ranks below their expected ranking, or scores far less than they are projected.

Saquon Barkley

Do you know the old saying: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. If you are going to draft Barkley in the first round this year….I would have another saying that would involve your intelligence level. Barkley has all the skills to be a top RB and to lead you to fantasy gold. However, it has become an almost forgone conclusion of what is going to happen.

After a great rookie season that seemed like he was going to be on the road to a bust in Canton. However, a decent season that broke a 1,000 yards rushing the next year, was marred with injuries. Then last year he suffered a season-ending injury that limited him to two games. However, he of course would bounce back the next year. He could be a steal….but he plays for the Giants.

They are going to make him a focal point of the offense because they have limited options outside of him. They just released one of their WR’s in Golden Tate, they have one of the worst defenses in the league, and their QB is a questionable starting QB in general. So, you can take a chance, but I feel like he is going to feel the ghosts of injuries past.
